At Lowell, we believe that high achieving learners are those who can apply what they have learned to levels of higher order thinking. Their strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills allow them to perform well on tests, as well as in real world situations. High achieving learners have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the technological sophistication to stay innovative in today's world. Helping students discover joyful learning, teachers strive to create opportunities in which students recognize the important life-long skills that they are learning at Lowell and how these skills will benefit them as they transition on to college and/or career.
